The subject is of a dark foreboding storm cloud sweeping over the
horizon bearing down on to lone pine at the edge of the pasture clearing.
As an artist I work either in this style or in a more primitive style.

My Newest Ocean Scene - Maui Beach
This piece was inspired by a trip to Hawaii last year. I used a palette knife to paint this piece and it has an actual sand feel to the beach. Vibrant tones of turquoise, deep blue and sea foam green have been used. I used pearlized paint for the white caps of the waves which gives the tips of the waves a shine. Lots of wave movement. Seascape of Nelson's Flagship
Victory Entering Portsmouth
This is a painting of Admiral Lord Nelson's famous flagship 'Victory' shown here entering Portsmouth harbour, her home port. The oldest commissioned warship in the Royal Navy she is now preserved in the Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth where you can go on board to see hat life was like on an 18th Century Man O'War.
Nelson was killed at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805 on board Victory and there were big celebrations last October commemorating the battle. I am auctioning a Limited Edition Print taken from my Original watercolor so click here if you want to bid, and have a little piece of English History.
