Each mask in this series started from a sheet of copper or bronze.
As I work to cut out from the metal sometimes one face appears. Other times multiple faces emerge from that same sheet of metal.
This series is over 2 years in the making. Some of the copper masks have been shown at Art Space, New Haven, CT and Silvermine Artists Guild, New Canaan, CT. This is the first time I am offering my metal artworks for sale online.

I combine the classic Greek asthetic with a free form style of stroke painting in this image. It is a beautiful rich, raw, earthy image that comforts the viewer. It has a sense of timeless beauty but also conveys what is good and mysteriously uplifiting transcends the time constraints of the eartly plane.

I'm an artist and illustrator specializing in pet/animal portraits and nature subjects.The majority of my work is pet portraits in either a realistic style in ink on scratchboard or a more interpretive style which I call "Paintings With Petzazz". These paintings are brightly colored and painted in watercolor on Yupo, a synthetic paper. The images to the left are samples of the "Petzazz" paintings. A life-long love of animals has put me on this path and I'm enjoying the trip!!

Vera Lucia Emerim has been a fantasy painter and artisan since an early age. She has been oil painting for the last twenty years. Her main subjects are cats, mermaids, faeries, elves, witches; cat Goddesses as Bast and Freya and male nudes. She also paints portraits, landscapes, seascapes, still life and flowers. She recently found out the world of altered arts and has already done several altered books. She lives with her husband and cats in Ararangua, a lovely small town near the sea in the State of Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Ken Gillam Marine and Landscape Artist

Born in Hampshire, after completing his education, in which art did not feature a great deal, he entered the banking profession. During this time he became an accomplished dinghy sailor later becoming both the National and Inland Champion, experiences that would later stand him in good stead for his favourite artistic subject the sea. After a career in banking, he then spent some time working in the charitable sector.

He has participated in a number of group exhibitions with his second one man show in the summer of 2005. Working mostly in watercolour and also in acrylic. He favours maritime and coastal scenes, but also produces outstanding landscapes. He says that watercolour is a challenging medium, but when it all comes together, can produce a seascape in which you can almost taste the salt spray.

A self taught artist and runner up in the recent prestigious Artist Choice Awards in both large and small seascape categories, with over 150 original paintings in collections in both UK, Europe, Canada and USA, my love of the sea and countryside id reflected in my work.
